so much better than I had thought it would be。 I regret putting this book off for so long。 Cried at the ending。 I really loved the characters and had some very unexpected twists。

3。5 🌟 Mi mayor problema con este libro （y con todos los libros que he leído de la autora） es el romance; la mayoría del tiempo me causan en exceso desagrado y ni hablar de las escenas sexuales que me tenían sinceramente， muy cansada。 Definitivamente podría haberme gustado muchísimo si tan solo me hubiera convencido la parte romántica， pero no es el caso。 Aun así， me asombra lo mucho que logré empatizar con la protagonista y la forma en que genuinamente disfruté el libro en su recta final。Después 3。5 🌟 Mi mayor problema con este libro （y con todos los libros que he leído de la autora） es el romance; la mayoría del tiempo me causan en exceso desagrado y ni hablar de las escenas sexuales que me tenían sinceramente， muy cansada。 Definitivamente podría haberme gustado muchísimo si tan solo me hubiera convencido la parte romántica， pero no es el caso。 Aun así， me asombra lo mucho que logré empatizar con la protagonista y la forma en que genuinamente disfruté el libro en su recta final。Después de lo terrible que fue November 9， no planeaba leer nada más de ella， pero creo que voy a reconsiderarlo tras esta lectura。 。。。more

Wow！！ i couldn’t put this book down， took me less than 12 hours to finish it over a 2 day span。 So many twists and turns I did not anticipate personally。 I love the jump back and forth between 17 year old Sky and 4/5 year old Sky！

Wow。 That was a lot。 When people said this book has a crazy plot twist， I had that quite underestimated。 I was not expecting this story to be as heavy as it was。 It’s VERY heavy。 I don’t want to spoil anything， but I think it’s very important to check the trigger warnings if that’s a concern for you。I teared up so many times during this book。 I finished the last huge chunk in one night， and it was a LOT to process。 A story that started out as a typical mildly annoying teen romance quickly became Wow。 That was a lot。 When people said this book has a crazy plot twist， I had that quite underestimated。 I was not expecting this story to be as heavy as it was。 It’s VERY heavy。 I don’t want to spoil anything， but I think it’s very important to check the trigger warnings if that’s a concern for you。I teared up so many times during this book。 I finished the last huge chunk in one night， and it was a LOT to process。 A story that started out as a typical mildly annoying teen romance quickly became raw and disturbing， and powerful。 And the very last chapter was so sweet and beautiful it made me cry。It feels weird to say that I loved this book， because it was honestly pretty disturbing at times， especially during this one scene in particular。 It’s hard to look back on my reading journey of this with excitement or enjoyment， because of how heavy it was。 But I do know I haven’t felt so much gut-wrenching emotions from a book in a long time。 I will likely not forget it for a while。 。。。more

I’m rating this based on Colleen Hoover books- not as a book in general。 I’ve read many of her books， I’ve liked all except Layla。 This one wasn’t bad- but wasn’t my favorite。 The last half of the book was definitely better than the first half， took me awhile to get into the story and care enough about the characters to feel motivated to read。 I’m going to continue to read the series because I feel compelled。

Trigger warnings for: rape， child abuse， suicide etc。 This book was recommended by my friend for the 12 books challenge。 I went into this book blind I didn’t read the synopsis。 It was a 24 week wait at my library due the book but then I was given a 7 day express ebook loan。 This book is absolutely heartbreaking and a few scenes made me want to throw up！ I had to take a break reading it thankfully my kindle fire died right there。 But there was also beauty in the love Sky and Holden share。 Colleen Trigger warnings for: rape， child abuse， suicide etc。 This book was recommended by my friend for the 12 books challenge。 I went into this book blind I didn’t read the synopsis。 It was a 24 week wait at my library due the book but then I was given a 7 day express ebook loan。 This book is absolutely heartbreaking and a few scenes made me want to throw up！ I had to take a break reading it thankfully my kindle fire died right there。 But there was also beauty in the love Sky and Holden share。 Colleen’s books are hit or miss for me。 But this was absolutely a hit！ I think this is a new favourite and I promptly put book 2 on hold even if it’s a 14 week wait。 My favourite quote was “ The Sky is always beautiful。 Even when it’s dark， or rainy or cloudy。 It’s still beautiful to look at。 It’s my favourite thing because I know if I ever get lost， or lonely or scared it will be there no matter what…。 And I know it will always be beautiful。” Holden created such a safe space for Sky。 He let her ask questions and gave answers on Sky’s own time and never tried to influence her。 This book definitely has some spice which I tend to find awkward in books with such trigger warnings but I did like how caring Holden was during those scenes。 。。。more
